June 18 Teen reading activity

This Thursday at 5pm, we will be doing Mendhi. Mendhi is the application of Henna as a temporary form of skin decoration. Mehendi decorations became fashionable in the West in the late 1990s, where they are sometimes called henna tattoos. It's great fun.

This is what you missed last week. Each participant was given a portion of a famous painting and had to reproduce that portion on a 8" x 11" sheet of paper. We then put all the pieces together and came up with this picture. Not bad for amateurs.
