Food for Fines

Every year around the holidays, the local food bank gets low on food. Over fifteen years ago, The Price City Library came up with a way to help; Food for Fines. This is a way to pay off your fines by donating non-perishable food items to the food bank. We trade one can/item for one fine. This year, Food for Fines will start on November 17th, and end on January 5th. 

Thanksgiving Hours

The Library will be closed on Thursday 11/27/2014, Friday 11/28/2014, and Saturday 11/29/2014 for the Thanksgiving holiday! We hope to see you back on Monday December 1st at 8:00am.

The annual library Halloween party is coming

up!! It will be held on Thursday October 30th

 from 5 pm -7 pm. Hope to see you there!

Annual Book Sale!

The Price City Library's Annual Book Sale will be going for only 2 more days. It is taking place in city hall. The hardback books are 1.00 and the paperbacks are .50, and all of the profits go to The Friends of the Price City Library. Don't miss out! There are tons of books left. 

Our Halloween party is coming up soon, and it's going to be 

so much fun. It will include a spook alley in the basement, a

 ton of treats, and a carved/painted pumpkin contest. It's

 going to be a safe and convenient way to celebrate the

 holiday, so don't forget to be here at the library at 5:00 on

 October 30th! Bring your scariest costume, and a carved or 

painted pumpkin for the chance to win some really neat

prizes!

We are going Dewey-Free. As we


start the transition we will be weeding out


non-fiction books. These books will be given 


away to anyone who is interested. Stop by to


see what is available! Books will be added as


they are deleted, so check back often.

PIONEERS IN YOUR ATTIC: Free Scanning Event!

Share your family's history with the world! Bring in 

your original documents and Mountain West Digital Library 

staff will scan them on site! You keep your materials, and 

the digital copies will be sent to you. It will be here at the 

Price City Library on September 26th from 10:00am to 

6:30pm. Don't miss out on the chance to preserve your 

family's legacy!
